Unbroken mess!

Hi! My name is George, and I am the author of 3/4 of the commentaries posted on the Redemption Center. Most of my commentaries deal with the New Covenant in regards to the unfathomable love and grace God has made available to man in the precious gift of salvation. In short, I speak mainly of the victory we have in the finished work of Christ in us; our only hope of glory!

At any rate, today I was looking over some of what God has given me to write in previous months, and I thought to myself; ‘This is all beautiful material George, praise God! But don’t you think you ought to share yourself and your feelings every now and then? Of course you know that you have victory in your precious Lord, which you have expressed in so many ways, and in grammatic detail! Yet still, don’t you think you ought to tell these folks how much you struggle at times? Or how the flesh often drags you from one bad mindset position or choice to another? Well don’t you?’

And that’s when this thought hit me; ‘Man George in all actuality, your a mess! How in the world do you even hold yourself together? And what is it that keeps you from falling completely apart, or from breaking all the way down?’ And just as suddenly as this first thought came, so did my precious Saviors reply: “You are my precious unbroken mess in whom I am well pleased! You are unbroken because my love for you can never be broken! Your flesh may sometimes carry you where you don’t want to go; but I can assure you, I will always be there to lead you home!”

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. We love Him because He first loved us. ~ 1 John 4:10, 19

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ~ Eph. 2:4-7

Authors note:

I love all of you, and I thank you all for being my friend. The Lord has great things in store for us all! We are His eternal unbroken mess! Amen!
