Pastors, teachers beware!

My friends, the gospel of our Lord and God Jesus Christ cannot be chained; nor can it be held captive by unreasonable men that refuse to give God’s Spirit preeminence in what they teach. The ax is at the root of the tree again my beloved; and our time and liberty are at hand! For God Himself has raised up a generation of men and women that cannot be silenced. Vessels chosen for just such a time, in whom the unbridled power of God shines forth via the pure proclamation of Christ Himself! Humanities only hope of glory!

The apostle James put forth a very clear warning in the opening statements of chapter 3 which states the following:

‘My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.’ ~James 3:1-2

In short, this is what I believe James meant: Be careful my brethren and remember that we all stumble in many ways; yet for God’s sake, be mindful to the best of your God given ability not to be double-tongued when teaching or preaching the gospel! Because should you fail to do so, the men and women under your tutelage will strictly judge you for being double-minded and teaching them error.

Authors note:

God is great my friends, and I believe He is unveiling Himself to His creation like never before. So with that said, let us pray that we all pray towards the same end; knowing that our Father loves us; that He is in us; and will be with us for eternity! That this message is the only message we proclaim. God bless you all!

George L. Miller

P.S. Here are some scriptures for thought-

Likewise, deacons must be reverent not double-tongued. ~ I Tim. 3:8b

In all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility. ~ Titus 2:7

In this the love of God was manifest towards us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. ~ I John 4:9-11

This is what it is all about. Law based theology will not produce love!

Awesome series by Andrew Farley called: Is that really in the bible!

  1. This post is meant to free anyone who desires to be a teacher of the pure gospel. There is no condemnation from God and the judgement it is speaking about as the post says is through the brother and sisters who no longer want to tolerate hearing death and fear! So rest teachers and let the spirit guide you and lead you!
